13566247_1790116574558352_243624940_nAt the 40th session of Sarajevo City Council that was chaired by Suljo Agic, the Chairman of the City Council, councelers paid tribute to the innocent people that were killed in the explosion that happened in a terrorist attack at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul.

The City Council received the Information about the activities on the project “Revitalization of Trebevic cable car” in the period from April 1 – June 25.

The city councilors adopted the Decision on approving the conclusion of the contract on gift of donated equipment between the City of Sarajevo and the Municipality of Olovo. The City of Sarajevo received a donation of equipment by the Tourist Board Greachen – Switzerland for the purpose of revitalization of Trebevic cable car.

Given that the donated equipment cannot be rationally used for the revitalization of Trebevic cable car, as well as due to the fact that the city has no facilities or any other capacities to take over and use the donated equipment that has to be removed from the base of international armed forces in Butmir where it has been placed so far, the conditions for it to be transferred to the ownership of the Municipality of Olovo, where is planned construction of the cable car, were created.

The Decision on the construction of new Trebevic cable car and ancillary facilities was adopted, thus creating the preconditions for further, accelerated, implementation of the project, as announced from the city administration.
