BiH director Haris Dubica won the award for the Music video of the year third time in a row in Switzerland.
The award was handed over to him before 400 people in Zurich, and this is the first time in the history of the competition that one director won the award three times in a row. Out of the 238 videos that competed, Haris won the first place for the music video of the singer Baschi “Hashtag”.
Baschi recorded official Swiss fan song in 2008 during the European football championship, and this song is still the best selling single of local singers in the country. This successful artist hired Dubica for making music video for the first single of his new album.
The song talks about today’s obsession with the Internet, and Haris created metaphor by presenting all the extras in the video with TVs on their heads, and you can see what they are thinking through these TVs. Haris proved again as the great supporter of our national team by putting the young man in the jerseys of Dzeko and Mirza Teletovic in this video, and BH model Leila Becic appeared in the video as well.
“It is an exceptional honor to win this award for the third time in a row, and it means a lot to me,” said Dubica and added: “These awards helped me a lot to enter the Swiss market. Thank God.”
Dubica is currently working on many projects, and his collaboration with DJ Antoine and his production company Global Productions is interesting. For now they agreed recording of two music videos for one Swiss and one Belgian DJ.
