Haris Husic as the European Vice-Champion in Taekwondo

Haris Husic Taekwondo Vice-Champion fokus.baThe BH representative Haris Husic won the silver medal in taekwondo at the European Games for Veterans in the French Nice.

In the hard category of over 80 kilograms, Husic achieved three victories. After qualifying fights, he defeated the representative of Turkey in the quarter-finals, he was better than the Italian in the semifinals, and he did not manage to end the match in the finals against the representative from France, due to arm injury.

The second BH representative Belmir Berberovic, who performed in the category up to 80 kilograms, was defeated in the quarter-finals by the representative from Spain, who won the title in the end.

The European Games for Veterans are an event most similar to the Olympic Games. These Games are being organized every four years, with participation of over 10.000 athletes older than 35 years from across Europe, who compete in 27 sports.
