RS: Larger Production and Sales in Forestry

Larger Production and Sales in Forestry novovrijeme.baAccording to the data of the Republic Institute for Statistics, in eight months of 2015 a total of 1.28 million cubic meters of different forest assortments were produced in the RS, or by 8.7 percent more than in the same period last year.

Of the total mass, 599.515 cubic meters refer to the assortments of conifers, and the assortments of hardwood make up 681.318 cubic meters.

The most common in the production were logs; 420.586 cubic meters of logs from conifers and 238.637 cubic meters of logs from hardwood were produced. In eight months of 2015, a total of 1.33 million cubic meters of different forest assortments were sold in the RS, or by 16.3 percent more compared with the same period last year. The logs were the most common in the sales, as well.

A mass of 194.980 cubic meters of different forest assortments was registered in stock by the end of this period.
