Head of the Islamic Community in BiH reacts on the Statement by War Criminal Dario Kordic

Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Husein Kavazovic, reacted to the statement of convicted war criminal Dario Kordic, which he made last summer, but which only recently became public.

Kavazovic posted on his official Facebook account, calling Kordic‘s statement shameful.

“I read the shameful statement of the war criminal Dario Kordic, who is welcomed by state officials as a hero and who is led even around religious buildings and gatherings as a role model for future generations,” Kavazovic wrote.

He added that criminals who are welcomed in the community as heroes do not need to repent for their misdeeds, nor sincerely ask for the forgiveness of the victims.

“This is what they say when they are ‘rehabilitated’ in this way. They sow the seeds of new evil. I didn’t even expect anything else. May God’s mercy be on the souls of innocently killed people and curse on criminals, those who glorify them, and those who agree to it.” Kavazovic added.

To recall, Hague convict and war criminal Dario Kordic was filmed last year giving a shameful answer to the question “Was it worth the prison and the war”, and that video has now been made public.

The video begins with Kordic recounting his conversation with one of the people present at the gathering.

“He asked me in silence if it was worth the prison, the war. I told him I would do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a second, every second was worth it,” he told.
