Heavy rainfall and melting snow have brought new problems to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the area of Jablanica municipality, there was a spill of water from a trough that threatened a residential building in the settlement of Zlate, and a landslide under a house in the settlement of Glodnica, announced the Operational Center of Civil Protection of Herzegovina Neretva Canton.

Civil protection teams are working to pump out water to regulate traffic. For now, the situation is not alarming and it is expected that the Bosna River will recede in the afternoon.

The heavy rain that fell, along with melting snow, led to a difficult situation in the settlement of Otes in the area of Ilidža Municipality near Sarajevo. The locals fought all night with the water that was entering residential and other buildings. The heavy rainfall caused the water level of the Dobrinja River to rise, causing the water to overflow. Some parts of this settlement are under water, and the citizens have spread sandbags trying to divert the water.

Heavy rainfall during the night brought minor problems for the citizens of Kakanj. The river Bosna overflowed in some places, which is why the road from the center of Kakanj to Donji Kakanj is closed, Civil Protection teams are working to pump out the water in order to regulate traffic. For now, the situation is not alarming and it is expected that the Bosna River will recede in the afternoon.
