According to initial police reports, a helicopter crashed in a forest area above the Hofburg Palace near Greding on Sunday.
The helicopter reportedly belongs to a private company. According to Bild, there were two pilots on board.
Both died in the crash.
The crash occurred near an airport.
The German Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
