Henkel opened New 9 million EUR worth Factory in Bileća

henkelCompany Henkel opened a new factory for the production of dry cement products for sticking tiles and facade by famous brand Cerisit, yesterday in Bileća.

Director of Division for adhesives at Henkel for SEE countries, Wolfgang Zettl, said that he is very proud for opening of a new factory of Henkel Adhesives BH in Bileća.

“We will supply the domestic as well as neighboring markets, such as Croatia, Montenegro, Albania …” said Zettl.

First Secretary and Head of Commercial and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Germany in B&H, Frank Verner,  said that relations between Germany and B&H are good, adding that this investment will serve as the stimulus for further investment of other German investors as well.

Director of the Agency for the Improvement of foreign investments, Jelica Grujić, mentioned in his addressing to attendees during the opening of Henkel’s factory in Bileća, that this investment will have a positive effect on the local community as well as to economy of B&H as a whole.

“This factory, as a greenfield investment, represents a very good example for other companies as well,” said Grujić.

General Director of Henkel BH company, Predrag Armuš, that he is very pleased with the fact that the company was able to expand the business by opening a new factory of Henkel Adhesives BH in Bileća.

He particularly emphasized that the location was chosen, among the other things, due to its location near the suppliers of fine ground calcium carbonate (GCC), which is the most important raw material for the production of their products.

Armuš added that the factory represents an investment worth 9 million EUR, built and equipped according to the highest technological standards and that it will be hiring 30 workers.

The factory was opened by the Mayor of Bileća, Miljan Aleksić, the Director of the factory Henkel Adhesives BH, Mirko Džunić, the General Director of Henkel BH company, Predrag Armuš, the Director of Division for adhesives at Henkel for SEE countries, Wolfgang Zettl, First Secretary and Head of Commercial and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Germany in B&H, Frank Verner, and Director of the Agency for the Improvement of foreign investments, Jelica Grujić.
