On occasion of the start of the new school year, Hennessey spoke with the Prime Minister Munib Husejnagić and Minister Mirko Trifunović on the challenges that this canton faces in preserving the quality of education, without segregation or discrimination, announced the Office of the Council of Europe to B&H.

Hennessey said that the ZDK has made genuine and successful efforts so that education in all official languages in B&H would be made available instantly to citizens, and in accordance with the multiethnic tradition and environment in the Canton.

After the visit to the elementary school in Novi Šeher, Hennessey congratulated all families and employees of the school, who defend daily the basic principles of coexistence and care for the inclusive future of their children.

‘’What can and should be a priority is to ensure these children education that would serve them as future residents of the EU. I hope that the cantonal government would continue to support these values’’, said Hennessey.
