The captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) national football team, Edin Dzeko, is the new player of Schalke 04, and the transfer was confirmed by the world’s most famous insider, Fabrizio Romano, with his trademark message – “Here we go.”

The experienced striker arrives in Gelsenkirchen as a free agent after a mutual termination of his contract with Fiorentina, where he spent the past half-season.

The Serie A club did not put up any obstacles, so the German giant did not have to pay a transfer fee for the captain of the “Dragons.”

Although he had significantly more lucrative financial offers, Dzeko rejected the “call of money” and opted for a sporting challenge – Schalke’s return to the Bundesliga.

The club is currently at the top of the 2. Bundesliga and has seriously embarked on the path back to the elite tier, and the arrival of the Bosnian captain is seen as a clear signal of ambition and the fight to restore former glory.
