Heroes are among us: Meet the Brave Man who saved a Dog from Icy Miljacka

150106040.5_mnHere is the story about a men who entered the icy Miljacka to save a stray dog.

The men who has done a good deed this morning and saved one life is called Fahrudin Bravo. In an interview for klix.ba he said that his friend, a taxi driver, told him for a dog, after which he decided to come and help him. Also the police came at the scene, but as the firefighters could not come at that moment, and time was passing, Fahrudin decided to enter the river to save a dog.

“The dog was frostbitten and I could not wait anymore. He was so traumatized that we could not catch him for more than one hour, how much we were “chasing“ in the water“, says Bravo laughing.

Additionally he said that he should rest, but still he has got a lot of obligations. Today, he adds, he brought a dog to the surgery, and now has to feed some puppies…
