Hezbollah Rockets are now targeting the Area where about Two Million Israelis live

Hezbollah expanded the range of its rocket attacks overnight into the greater Haifa area and the Jezreel Valley, putting an estimated two million Israelis within range of its attacks.

“Hundreds of thousands of people had to seek refuge in shelters” across northern Israel, military spokesman Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani told AFP after the overnight and early morning attacks.

The IDF said the rockets were fired “towards civilian areas”, indicating a possible escalation after previous barrages had mostly targeted military targets.
One rocket landed near a residential building in Kiryat Bialik, a community near Haifa, injuring at least three people and setting buildings and cars on fire.

“I ran without shoes, without a shirt, just in pants. I ran into this house while everything was still burning to try to find if there were any more people,” said resident Avi Vazana.

Hezbollah has fired thousands of rockets at Israel since October 8. It has also launched hundreds of drones. The attacks are mainly aimed at the Galilee and Golan Heights areas in northern Israel.

Hezbollah is believed to have rockets and missiles capable of hitting almost all of Israel.
