Hezbollah announced that it shelled an Israeli settlement in the border region with dozens of Katyusha missiles.

Hezbollah’s statement states that the settlement and the surrounding area were targeted, adding that dozens of Katyusha rockets were launched at the Meron settlement, which is located on the border with Israel.

It noted that the attack was carried out “in response to Israeli attacks on villages and civilian homes in southern Lebanon, including the towns of Kuzah, Merkeba and Sribbin.”

The announcement states that six people were injured in the Israeli air attack on southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah also announced that two more of its members were killed during the conflict with Israeli forces.

Thus, the number of members of Hezbollah who died in clashes with Israel since October 8, 2023 has increased to 287.

In addition, 56 Lebanese civilians, seven Israeli civilians and 12 Israeli soldiers were killed in the clashes, AA writes.
