High Representative Christian Schmidt met with the BiH Presidency Chairman Zeljko Komsic and BiH Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic to discuss the current challenges in the country and potential solutions.
To that end, he expressed the readiness of the wider international community to assist but underscored the imperative of an open dialogue among leaders and politicians to deescalate the tensions and stressed the need for all representatives to unconditionally return to the State institutions and unblock their functionality.
The High Representative emphasized that the hard-won peace and progress of the last 26 years cannot be put into question and that all elected politicians should honor their oaths and promises to citizens when they pledged to work in their best interest.
