High representative Valentin Inzko visited the Austrian contingent of EUFOR today. On this occasion he was informed by personnel about efforts that have been undertaken to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to citizens which were endangered in the floods. In addition, EUFOR especially emphasized the good cooperation with the B&H Armed Forces and various civil protection organizations.
“What we can do now is to show our solidarity and deep sympathy to those affected by the floods. Especially, we should feel sympathy towards those who have lost their loved ones or whose homes were destroyed. I am convinced that the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to provide assistance until it is needed”, said Inzko and OHR announced.
