The extraordinary session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose announced agenda includes the review of this year’s budget of the Federation, began in Sarajevo.
The rebalancing was proposed by the Federal Government, as well as the accompanying act, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Budget Execution.
Both of these acts were accepted by the majority of the House of Representatives at the marathon session held on October 25 and 26.
In order for them to enter into force, the House of Peoples must accept both the rebalance and the law on budget execution, amended in accordance with the rebalance, in the same texts as those approved in the House of Representatives.
The government proposed that this year’s rebalanced budget of the Federation amounts to a total of 6,937,563,355 BAM which is 211.7 million BAM or 3.1 percent more than the current budget, Fena reports.
