The leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyid Abdul Malik al-Houthi, said his movement was ready for military intervention to counter the Israeli escalation in Gaza, stressing the principle of military, media and political support for the Palestinian people.
Speaking on the anniversary of the withdrawal of US Marines from Sanaa, al-Houthi confirmed that “the day after in the Gaza Strip, the victory of the Palestinian resistance is over”.
The Yemeni leader said that the Americans had tried to destroy Yemen and take control of it in a way that serves their interests.
“The American agenda in the region is destructive and catastrophic,” he said, adding that the United States treats the Arab and Islamic world with greed and contempt, especially since its approach threatens all these countries “without any exception”.
The Ansar Allah leader stressed that the escape of the Marines from the capital Sanaa means the failure of the US to control the country, noting that “dominance over (Saudi) Mecca and Medina is part of the Zionist project, which is being implemented in stages”.
“There are witnesses to American greed, and the proof of this is the statements of US President Donald Trump, even towards ‘non-Islamic’ countries,” al-Houthi said.
He said America “benefits greatly from the idiocy of some Arab countries.”
“The Americans see this nation as prey, a meal to be devoured, and those who possess immense wealth as nothing more than milch cows,” al-Houthi said.
Sayyid al-Houthi said the US is “savage, arrogant and morally bankrupt, driven by extreme greed, exploiting nations without any regard for their rights or freedom.”
Strong Arab stance against US project
The Ansar Allah leader said that whenever the US takes an aggressive stance towards an Arab country, the strongest support often comes from the Arab world itself, noting, however, that the Arab position towards the Israeli aggression on Gaza has mostly been either complicit or weak.
According to him, Saudi Arabia has organized several summits on Gaza, but has not taken any measures against Israel, not even by closing its airspace.
“The Arab states could not even unite around a single position to deliver food to Gaza, where people are dying of hunger,” al-Houthi said.
Al-Houthi stressed that this is an opportunity for Arab states to confront the US and free themselves from its control, affirming that Arab unity would thwart the US plot, especially when it comes to Gaza.
Speaking about the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, al-Houthi said that Yemen stands with the Lebanese people if the Israeli army escalates the conflict.
Finally, speaking about Iran, he stated that “the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran was a gain for the Palestinian people, because the Shah was a servant of Israel.”
The Ansar Allah leader reiterated that this is an opportunity for Arab states to say “no to America” and free themselves from American control, adding that “Arab unity will thwart the US agenda regarding Gaza.”, Klix.ba writes.
