Kensington Palace has released the first official photo of the Princess of Wales since undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

The photo, taken by Prince William in Windsor earlier this week, features the princess and their children, and was taken to mark Mother’s Day.

In a message shared on Instagram, Kate said: “Thank you for your well wishes and continued support over the past two months. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone.”

The photo shows the princess sitting surrounded by her children – Princess Charlotte and Princes Louis and George.

The Princess of Wales was recently photographed for the first time in public after the operation, but many people suspected at the time that it was her doppelganger.

We remind you that after the operation in January, Kate spent 13 nights in the London clinic, near Regent’s Park in the center of London. The palace said at the time that the princess wanted her personal medical information to remain private.
