Strong attacks by the Israeli army on Gaza continued today, and according to the latest data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 3,478 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the attacks.

Many citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina express their support for the Palestinians, money is collected, and on Sunday, a rally of support is scheduled to take place in the square across from the Sarajevo City Hall.

During the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Palestinians, despite their own problems, collected aid for the citizens of our country.

This is evidenced by the article from Sarajevo Oslobodjenje published on July 23, 1995.

In an article reported by the Reuters agency, it is stated that Palestinians are giving up a percentage of their salary in order to ensure aid for war-torn Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The Palestinian Self-Governing Authority, although in dire financial straits, announced today that it will deduct one percent of its workers’ July salaries as its contribution to the campaign to collect humanitarian aid to war-torn Bosnia. A Palestinian Authority media representative said that additional contributions to the fund will help to be wanted in the churches and mosques of the self-governing enclaves of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank – Jericho, despite the difficulties faced by the Palestinians,” writes the article in Sarajevo’s Oslobodjenje, Klix.ba reports.
