The High Representative in BiH, Christian Schmidt, met today with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazovic.
As announced by the Office of the High Representative (OHR), the meeting was very informative.
As reported, they discussed current events concerning Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the situation in returnee communities, and overall activities in the field of reconciliation and interreligious dialogue.
“Truth, justice, and the building of trust are needed for lasting peace. The people of this country have made tremendous progress toward reconciliation, and those efforts must never be compromised. All political representatives, civil society, as well as religious communities have a significant role in this,” said the high representative.
