The decision about the ban on the import of milk and dairy products affects domestic Klas as well. We will still have the paradox that we will not be able to export cheese products to countries of the EU with the cheese that originates from B&H. Although customers in the EU hardly wait for it, as written by the director of Klas, Rusmir Hrvic, on its Facebook profile.
Financially, this situation does not affect us too much, but this is a matter of procedure, fairness and principles. Our state officials explained that B&H did everything EU requested in order to ensure the unrestricted export of milk and dairy products from B&H to the market of the EU.
We believe them completely, because they showed their principles and expertise earlier. Standards needed to ensure the quality and the safety of food are met. Then why this ban on the import!? Is that great and powerful EU, or someone in it, afraid of the competition of small B&H?
Just because of these reasons, we support the state institutions of B&H, before all the Ministry of the Foreign Trade of B&H, and the domestic dairy industry, said Hrvic.
