nana_sadija_mujic_srebrenica_pomozibaGrandma Sadija Mujić from Srebrenica lost two sons in the aggression on BiH, while the third son survived. She also lost her husband. Today, grandma Sadija also lost her vision.

Her sons cannot be brought back, her husband either, but we can do something to restore her vision.

“Grandma went to two different clinics and the surgery costs only around 3.500 EUR. When I say only, I mean that it is a small amount for one such important thing like vision. We currently do not know which percentage of vision can be restored with the surgery, but anything would be good,” said the organization Pomozi.ba, and their activist adds:

“Sadija Mujić lives in the settlement Žanjevo (Abdulići), around 30 kilometers away from Srebrenica. This is firsthand information. Grandma says that no one has ever helped her, including governmental and non-governmental organizations, only her neighbors helped her occasionally. There are not many neighbors, only several more houses in the village”.

Grandma Sadija lives with her son and the only income they have are several hundred BAM of disability allowance. Most of that money is spent on medicines.

The humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba urges all citizens to share the news and to join the campaign, in accordance with their possibilities, in order to respite at least the vision of this woman who has been through so much in her life.

Everyone who wants to help can do it in the following ways:
