On February 1, they were sent home from their workplaces without any explanation.

In Gornji Podgrac near Bosanska Gradiška, workers of the “Nova DIPO” wood industry protested today. One hundred workers of this company were sent home on February 1, without any solution or explanation.

The workers gathered in front of the company, after which they went on a protest walk.

On February 1, they were sent home from their workplaces without, as they say, any explanation. The company’s gates have been locked ever since.

The workers are demanding that the uncertainty they are currently in be resolved. Due to unpaid contributions in the previous five years, they do not have the opportunity to receive treatment, nor to have their seniority extended.

The director of the company does not advertise. Support to the workers was provided by the mayor of Gradiska, who was with the gathered workers today, according to the BHRT report.
