Kuwaitis to build Technology Park in the Center of Sarajevo

meeting Ajnadzic Kuwaiti AmbassadorAmbassador of Kuwait to BiH Nasser Riden Thamer Almotairi visited the Municipality of Centar on Friday, where he was hosted by the Mayor Nedzad Ajnadzic, who talked with his guests about potential investments and future cooperation that can be achieved with this rich Gulf country.

“We are interested in the project of construction of the Technology Park, which should be located in the area of this municipality. We are also interested in building a children theme park of Kuwait in the area of the Municipality Centar, as we did in other world capitals. There is a great interest of the citizens of Kuwait to visit BiH and invest, which is why it is necessary to simplify the existing legislation, in order to facilitate procedures for potential investors who are investing in projects in BiH,” explained Almotairi.

Besides discussing the project of Technology Park, for whose construction is interested consortium of IT companies, for which was chosen location and preparation of the necessary documentation, and Ajnadzic on this occasion presented documents with presentations of 20 current projects, which can be implemented in the area of central municipality in Sarajevo.

“I think that these projects could be of great interest to international investors, and as you can see on them is the presentation of projects such as the construction of business and residential buildings in the extra-urban zone, the construction of sports and recreational and hotel complex on Vranjace, the construction of the underground garage, the Home for retirees, hotel in Skenderija. In the park Hastahana on Marin Dvor is available 11 hectares of land where, besides other facilities, is also planned the construction of underground parking. We are ready to talk to investors from Kuwait regarding all these issues. We would also suggest to investors to get involved in this stage of projects when the intervention in the spatial planning documents is still possible,” explained Ajnadzic.

At the end of the meeting of Ambassador Almotaria and Mayor Ajnadzic was discussed the possibility of building facilities in the municipality of Center for the accommodation of embassies and residences of Kuwait in BiH.
