The FBiH Hydrometeorological Institute has issued an orange weather alert for the west, southwest and central areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina for today.
Strong and stormy gusts of wind from the south and southeast are expected in those areas.
The meteo-alarm states that a wind speed of 55-65 kilometers per hour is expected, and in the west and southwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina it will occasionally hit up to 85 kilometers per hour.
The Institute warns of potential disruptions, structural damage and risk of injury from damaged trees and wind-borne debris. Interruptions in the supply of electricity are also possible.
