In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Vedad Ibisevic said that it would be great if writing of the Italian media about his transfer to Lazio would realize.
In an interview with Enzo Piergianni, the first question that journalists for Corriere dello Sport was interested in, was how Vedad would feel about playing Roman derby.
“Can I imagine playing with Lulic against Dzeko, Pjanic and Zukanovic? That would be fun! They are all great players and we are all friends. It would be very exciting challenge for me,” said Ibisevic and added:
“Roma and Lazio are teams with great worldwide reputation. The Italian league is followed on TV screens both in Germany and BiH. Both teams have top players, both domestic and foreign. Lazio remained in great memory since we kicked them out of the European league when I played for Stuttgart,” Vedo recalled.
Ibisevic is under contract with Hertha until 2017.
“I feel great in Berlin. This season was very successful for us,” said Ibisevic, who spoke about his partner in the attack of Dragons.
“When it comes to Dzeko’s season, it is all about acclimatization. The first year in another country is always complicated. Edin has all the qualities that everyone admires him in Italy,” said Ibisevic.
