Zlatan Ibrahimović enthusiastically followed the victory of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team at the World Cup against Qatar.
Sergej Barbarez’s team celebrated with a score of 3:1, thus securing a place in the knockout stage and thus achieving the greatest success in history.
The legendary Ibra, who has roots in Bosnia and Herzegovina, once again showed that he emotionally followed all the events surrounding Zmajevo, and in the FOX studio he spoke about the victory of our team.
“That’s why football is played – bringing people together, especially for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has suffered a lot. Emotions overcome me when I see all this happiness. I get goosebumps, because these are my father’s roots,” he said and continued:
“When you see 70,000 people singing. The BiH fans have probably already won the World Cup. I’m happy and proud of them, but the special moment is when the fans sang. All this is very emotional, I don’t know how to express myself in the right way. I’m overjoyed”.
As a reminder, the Dragons will play the World Cup Round of 16 on July 2 in San Francisco against the home team America.
