Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community (IZ) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) dr. Husein ef. Kavazovic talked about the attacks on the Islamic community, about the lack of an agreement between the Islamic Community and the state of BiH.

Speaking about the attacks on Islamic Community, its employees, reis Kavazovic emphasized that the number of attacks has decreased significantly compared to an earlier period.

When it comes to the lack of an agreement between the Islamic Community and the state of BiH, reisu-l-ulema Kavazovic says that it has become a political issue even though it should never have been.

”We emphasized that we will never sign that agreement if it is the subject of trade. Even if they sign it, we are not ready to do it knowing that the subject is compensation. To us, the state and the interest of the state come before that agreement,” explainedPresident Kavazovic.

In the interview, Kavazovic also referred to the period of aggression, when he was a member of the Republic of BiH (RBiH) Army, and was later arrested and detained in the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) war camp.

He added that at that time we were all ready to sacrifice ourselves for our homeland.

”Today’s fight is in the institutions of BiH. We must not allow them to be ruined. We must show that we are ready to defend the institutions of BiH in every way, and if they fall, and we had that in ’92, we must be ready to defend this country with weapons,” said, among other things, Reis Kavazovic.
