The Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo enabled residents of the Municipality Novi Grad and Sarajevo to ice skate for free again this winter.

Around 350 square meters of ice surface is located in the Center Safet Zajko, where everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy this ice surface and ice skate for free.

Both older and younger citizens will be able to use it, and children under the age of 6 will be able to ice skate only if  their parents are present.

The ice skating rink will be open until February 15, and all citizens and visitors of Sarajevo will be able to use it on working days and weekends from 10 AM to 9 PM.

Ice skating will be free of charge for all ages, and those who do not have ice skates will be able to rent them at a symbolic price of 1 BAM, which will be the price for renting on a whole day.

“This is the first time for my child to ice skate and it is a wonderful feeling. Some of the children made their first steps on ice today, which means a lot for them, and smiles on their faces are confirmation for all those who are engaged in this kind of projects to continue doing them in the future,” said Alma, one of the parents who visited the Center Safet Zajko.
