ICTY Opens Exhibition “20 Years of the International Justice” at the Historical Museum on 16th July

historijski_muzej_bihThe program Outreach of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) is organizing an exhibition “20 Years of International Justice,” which will open on 16th July at the Historical Museum of BiH in Sarajevo, was released from the ICTY.

The exhibition, organized to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Tribunal, highlights significant moments during the two decades of tireless work of justice. Particular emphasis will be placed on the role of the Tribunal in determining the facts about war crimes, apprehending fugitives, and his legacy.

The exhibition was previously set to display in the Hague from 27th  May to 14th June.

The reception will be attended by representatives of the tribunal, experts in issues of transitional justice, academics and representatives of civil society, the national judiciary and the diplomatic corps.
