Organized by the Municipality of Banovici, an iftar was held for 600 people in the Workers’ Centre.

According to the mayor of the municipality, Bego Gutic, after last year’s iftar was organized with the friendly municipality of Eyub Sultan from Turkey, this year the municipality took over the organization on its own.

He said that it was a pleasure that a large number of citizens, that is believers, had gathered in order to continue this beautiful tradition.

Joint iftars are one of the blessings of the month of Ramadan and they are an opportunity for citizens to gather and socialize and to show unity, strength, dedication to religion, Islam and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Iftar in the Workers’ Centre is a beautiful picture of this year’s Ramadan in Banovici, the organizers concluded.
