The iftar dinner under the Old Bridge in Mostar tonight gathered a record number of people from Mostar and their guests.

The gathering of young believers in the unique ambience of the old city center of Mostar is being held for the ninth year in a row, organized by the Info-service for young people of the Majlis of the Islamic Community (MIZ) Mostar.

Event coordinator Nedim Hondo tells Klix.ba that this event has already become a tradition in the largest city of Herzegovina, which is also shown by the fact that the number of people gathered is increasing every year.

“We are happy and joyful that this year we increased the number by 200 young people. So this year, 1,300 young people gathered under the Old Bridge,” Hondo told Klix.ba.

He points out that the fact that young people have arrived from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries, Croatia and Montenegro, is especially joyous.

He emphasizes that it is particularly significant that the iftar under the Old Bridge is held for the second year in a row as part of the “Ramadan in Mostar” manifestation, which aims to become a tradition of the largest city in Herzegovina, Klix.ba reports.
