The Executive Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved last night a payment for BiH in the amount of 78 million KM tranche under the Stand-By Agreement.
This amount will be distributed between the BIH entitites-2/3 to the FBiH and 1/3 to the RS.
With this payment, the fiscal stability of BIH and its entities is ensured. The IMF Board of Directors approved this tranche after the completion of measures in accordance with the Stand-By Agreement with BiH state institutions, from which the most important was the adoption of the Law on favorable early retirement war veterans that the FBIH Parliament adopted at the last session.
With the payment, the doors of the federal budget are open with 58 million KM, which the European Commission sees as assistance to this BiH entity.
