The Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury Edita Đapo received in Sarajevo yesterday the Ambassadors of Palestine and Saudi Arabia to BiH Haled Alatraša and Eida Mohameda Althakafija, respectively, in separate visits.

Alatraš spoke to the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury on the current events in the Middle East and the situation regarding the peace negotiations between Palestine and Israel.

They agreed that they should persevere in their efforts to come to a peaceful solution through negotiations between the two countries.

The meeting with the Saudi Ambassador was organized on the eve of the visit of the BiH delegation to Saudi Arabia, led by Minister Đapo.

It is planned that during this meeting they would speak of the details before signing the contract under which the Saudi Fund would finance the construction of the new building of the University Library of the University of Sarajevo.

It was emphasized at the meetings that it is necessary to develop all areas of cooperation with the goal to improve bilateral relations.
