Head of Stari Grad Municipality Ibrahim Hadžibajrić and manager of the Olympic Museum Edin Numankadić expressed their readiness that in cooperation with Sarajevo Canton, city of Sarajevo and all interested, accelerate the project of rehabilitation of the building of the Olympic Museum which should be finished by 2014, on the 30th anniversary of Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo.

Hadžibajrić said to Dnevni avaz that ,with NGO ”Rotori” from Doboj, he started an initiative to use the IPA Fund to rehabilitate the Museum, but since those procedures are too long, Hadžibajrić made an agreement with Numankadić to start a initiative and to find 500 000 BAM in order to rehabilitate the Museum.

He added that the Municipality will allocated around 100 000 BAM in order to start the rehabilitation procedure.

Numankadić said that roof, doors and windows and other internal installations have already been rehabilitated, and added that the Museum is negotiating with the French Embassy which may help the rehabilitation.

He said that he hope that the Museum will be fully rehabilitated on the 30th anniversary of Winter Olympic Games.
