Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in eight months amounted to 10.524 billion BAM, which is 6.3 percent less compared to the same period last year, while imports amounted to 18.948 billion BAM, i.e. 3.6 percent more than in the first eight months. last year.

The coverage of imports by exports in the first eight months amounted to 55.5 percent, while the foreign trade goods deficit amounted to 8.424 billion BAM, the Statistics Agency of BiH announced.

Exports to CEFTA countries in eight months amounted to 1.737 billion BAM, which is 17.3 percent less compared to the same period in 2023, while imports amounted to 2.211 billion BAM, which is 2.7 percent more compared to the first eight months last year.

The coverage of imports by exports with CEFTA countries was 78.6 percent.

Exports to EU countries in the first eight months amounted to 7.764 billion BAM, which is six percent less compared to the same period last year, while imports amounted to 11.280 billion BAM, which is 5.9 percent more than the first eight months of 2023. . year.

Coverage of imports by exports with EU countries was 68.8 percent.
