“I wanted peace to return to every home as soon as possible in order to ensure a safe childhood and development for the youngest, on whom the future of every country rests,” Vučić’s announcement reads.
The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, received the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska in Belgrade on Monday.
“I thanked the first lady of Ukraine for the visit, as well as for strengthening ties with Serbia in these difficult times. We discussed cultural ties between our peoples, as well as humanitarian issues, and especially the needs of the most vulnerable categories of the population and children, who are the most vulnerable in every conflict,” Vučić wrote on his Facebook profile.
He emphasized, as he says, Serbia’s readiness to provide help in the form of necessary funds for those who need it most today.
“I wanted peace to return to every home as soon as possible in order to ensure a safe childhood and development for the youngest, on whom the future of every country rests,” Vučić’s announcement reads.
Olena Zelenska arrived in Belgrade on May 12 with the Ukrainian head of diplomacy Dmytro Kuleb, and on the second day of the visit she participated in an international meeting on mental health held under the auspices of Tamara Vučić, the wife of the President of Serbia, Fena news agency writes.
