In Sarajevo today the conference that officially marks the start of the project “Development of Central Bodies of Government in the BiH Government”, financed by the EU, starts today.
At the conference, where tasks and expected goals of the project will be achieved, as well as partner institutions from the state, entity and Brčko District level, which will be included in the realization of the project.
Four main users of the project are the General Secretary of the BiH Council of Ministers, FBIH government, RS government and the government of the Brčko District
The project will deal with issues and reforms that would include other institutions and interested parties, as well as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, legislators and others.
The Head of the Section of Operations will address participants at the conference for Justice and Home Affairs and Public Administration Reform in the EU Delegation in BiH Severin Srohal, General Secretary of four governments, and the Coordinator for Reform of Public Administration in BiH Semiha Borovac.
This project represents the continuation of reform initiatives tied to the process of strengthening central organs of government at all levels that last until 2008.
The project was launched in January 2013 and will last 24 months and the main goal is to lend technical support to the four governments in BIH tied to the development of coordination capacities of central organs in the preparation and monitoring of the implementation of the annual plans/programs of development (including the development of legal acts) and assessment of the impact of regulation, announced the EU Delegation to BiH.
