Incomplete remains of at least two more people were exhumed today in Sarajevo’s Avde Palica Street in the Zabrde settlement, Novi Grad municipality.

These remains were spotted on Friday, during construction work on the site. The exhumation of the remains suspected of belonging to at least two victims of the past war was carried out at the same place on Thursday.

After the exhumation, the remains were transferred to the premises of “Sveti Marko”, where forensic expertise will be performed during this week in order to determine whether they originate from the previous war or whether they are actually older remains.

The exhumation was carried out under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and by order of the Court of BiH.
