Increase of Export from BiH in 2016

Import Export Data nap.baIn 2016, BiH exports amounted to 9.417 billion BAM, which is 4.8 percent more than in 2015. On the other side, imports amounted to 16.139 billion, and are higher by 1.8 percent.

BiH Agency for statistics announced that the export-import ratio was 58.3 percent, while foreign trade deficit amounted to 6.723 billion BAM.

Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 1.394 billion BAM in 2016, which is 4.4 percent more than in 2015. On the other side, imports amounted to 2.057 billion BAM, which is 5.1 percent more than the previous year. Export-import ratio with CEFTA countries amounted to 67.7 percent.

Speaking about the EU countries, the export amounted to 6.734 billion BAM, which is 4.4 percent more than in 2015, while imports amounted to 9.923 billion BAM, which is 2.9 percent more than in 2015. The coverage of imports by exports to the EU countries amounted to 67.9 percent.
