Increase in Tourist Arrivals in Bosnia-Herzegovina in November

In November last year, a total of 96,366 tourist arrivals in Bosnia-Hercegovina was recorded, which represent the decrease by 42.1% as compared to October 2019 and increase by 12.2% as compared to November 2018.

Tourists realized 190,513 overnight stays which represent the increase by 41.7% as compared to October 2019 and increase by 13.1% as compared to November 2018.

Domestic tourists share of total number of overnight stays was 37.5% and foreign tourists share was 62.5%.

The number of domestic tourist nights increased by 17.4% as compared to October 2019 and increased by 15.5% as compared to November 2018.

Foreign tourist overnight stays increased by 50.4% as compared to October 2019 and increased by 11.7% as compared to November 2018.

Concerning the structure of foreign tourist nights in November 2019, the most of them (61.5%) were realized by tourists from: Croatia (24.9%), Serbia (11.7%), Slovenia (5.7%), Italy (5.5%), Turkey and China (5.2%) and Germany (3.2%).

Tourists from other countries realized 38.5% of overnight stays.
