Increased Vehicle Traffic is expected on the Roads throughout BiH

It is the holiday season, so increased vehicle traffic is expected on roads throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially on the southbound routes. The heaviest traffic jams are expected on the Sarajevo-Mostar main road today, especially at the entrance to Konjic, the passage through Jablanica and the approach to Mostar, BiHAMK announced.

Work has begun on the Jablanica-Prozor main road, in the Mirci settlement (at the exit from Jablanica). A traffic light has been installed at the work site and traffic is slowed down, with vehicles being allowed to pass alternately.

Work is ongoing on the Podlugovi-Sarajevo North and Doboj-Banja Luka motorway sections, as well as on the following main roads: Zenica-Žepče (Topčić Polje), Kladanj-Vlasenica, Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turnoff for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale and Vrhpolje-Ključ.

BiHAMK reminds that traffic is allowed on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total weight.

Due to active landslides, they single out the Dobro Polje-Foča main roads (at the Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji locations) and Gacko-Tjentište (between the Čemerno and Surdup tunnels).

There is a long line of vehicles at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Izačić border crossing. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles, for now, do not wait longer than 15 to 30 minutes. The Brčko border crossing is open to passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.
