There are no indications of increased water levels for the first category nor are there any reasons for panicking because of potential spellings of rivers and water flows, Counselor of Director for Technical Affairs of the Agency for the Sava River Basin Enes Alagić said for FENA.
Alagić added that it is encouraging that no heavier rainfalls were forecasted.
He said that the recent rainfalls caused the worst situation in Sanski Most but it is not worrisome. There, 14 liters of rain per square meter fell so the Sana River is 90 centimeters above emergency marker. The water levels decreased last night, but increased somewhat this morning.
“Civil Protection is in constant touch with the Agency and everyone is ready in case of necessity,” Alagić said.
