The Indirect Taxation Authority Achieved Record Revenue Collection

parfumThe Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) has achieved in the past year a record revenue collection since its foundation in 2006, confirmed today Head of ITA Department for communication and international cooperation Ratko Kovačević.

Total gross revenues in 2014 amounted to 6,240,503,281 BAM which is 359 million BAM or 6, 09 percent more than in 2013.

VAT return amounted to one billion and 172 million BAM, which is 175 million more than in 2013.

In 2014, ITA to its users, state, entities and Brčko District distributed five billion and 69 million BAM, which is 184 million BAM more than in 2013.

The excise tax on domestic and imported products makes up 21 percent of total generated revenues and customs revenues amounted to 3.85 percent.

Kovacevic added that the growth in revenues in the last year was mostly affected by revenues from VAT.
