At an extraordinary session on Monday, March 20, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina should consider the Draft Law on the Budget of the BiH Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2023, the Presidency confirmed in a statement for FENA.

On March 15, the BiH Council of Ministers unanimously approved the Draft Law on the Budget of the BiH Institutions for this year, which the Ministry of Finance and Treasury sent to the Presidency of BiH, as an authorized proposer to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, which ultimately adopts the law.

Total revenues, receipts and financing of the institutions of BiH within the budget for 2023 amount to 1,315,400,000 BAM, which is an increase of 241.8 million BAM compared to the budget of the institutions of BiH for 2022.

Revenues from indirect taxes are planned in the amount of 1,020,500,000 BAM and have been increased by about 155 million BAM or 18 percent compared to the budget for 2022.
