The bear, who was found in serious health condition near the quarry in Kresevo a few days ago, died despite the efforts of veterinarians to save her, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
After being found by hunters, the bear was transferred to the premises of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo.
The vet who cared for her said she had not even a five percent chance of surviving, and she was found to be poisoned.
Her two small bears were found and are in good health.
