International Action “Justice” still ongoing

sipa2International police action with the code name “Justice”, implemented upon the order by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton, is still ongoing and around 20 persons suspected of organized crime will be arrested.

The action is being implemented by the Federal Police Administration (FUP), in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, the Intelligence Security Agency (OSA) and USKOK from Croatia.

Raids are currently being conducted at several locations in Sarajevo, the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Central Bosnia Canton.

It was confirmed that raids are also being conducted in the premises of the Municipality of Stari Grad, the Institute for Planning of the Sarajevo Canton, and the Municipal Court.

Raids are being conducted at 40 locations in BiH and 20 locations in Croatia.

Building of the Municipality of Stari Grad in Sarajevo is also being inspected.

Action in Croatia is being implemented by the Department for prevention of corruption and organized crime, together with the Police national office for prevention of corruption and organized crime (PNUSKOK), on the request for international legal assistance by the Cantonal Prosecution Sarajevo.
