Banja Luka mayor Drasko Stanivukovic announced that a decision will be made in the coming days, which will enable the citizens of Serbia to park for free on the territory of the city of Banja Luka.
As he said ”all citizens of our brotherly Serbia, who own a vehicle with license plates of the Republic of Serbia, the City of Banja Luka will provide free parking in the city.”

"This act is only a small sign of gratitude for all the support that the President of the Republic of Serbia, the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the City of Belgrade provide to Banja Luka and the entire Republika Srpska,” said the mayor.

As a sign of gratitude for the donation of vaccines against coronavirus to the Canton Sarajevo (CS), the Tourist Board of the CS has prepared a program to subsidize tourist and catering accommodation services with the e-code “Holidays in Sarajevo”.

As it was said from the CS Tourist Board, in this way, CS wants to symbolically repay the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

“In order to increase the number of tourist arrivals during the summer tourist season and the recovery of tourism, the CS Government and the CS Tourist Board will subsidize tourist and catering services in CS area for tourists from Serbia,” it was announced by the CS Tourist Board.

They stated that the subsidy will be implemented through protected e-codes that are intended for the use of tourist-hotel accommodation for 2.000 tourists, citizens of Serbia, whose list of names is submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

“Persons from the submitted list will be able to book accommodation in the CS in one of the accommodation tourist and catering facilities from the list, which will be selected through a public invitation published by the Tourist Board of the CS,” they told.

It was stressed that the list of selected accommodation facilities will be available through the online platform “Holidays in Sarajevo”.
“The online platform that will be integrated on the website of the CS Tourist Board www.visitsarajevo.ba will be accessible only to citizens from the submitted list, so they will have approved access and thus be able to apply for tourist-hotel accommodation in CS called ‘Holidays in Sarajevo’,” they pointed out.

They pointed out that the e-codes are planned to be used in the period from July 1st to December 30th, 2021.

“The right to participate in the public invitation announced by the Tourist Board of CS is planned for business entities that provide catering services in tourist and catering facilities for accommodation, under the regulations governing the field of catering,” the Tourist Board of CS emphasized, Klix.ba writes.
