Continuation of Cooperation between the UNDP and BiH Prosecutors Office announced

The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadic, together with the Deputy Chief Prosecutor and Head of the Special Department for War Crimes, Milanko Kajganic, and associates met in Belgrade with War Crimes Prosecutor Snezana Stanojkovic and her deputies and associates, in the presence of UNDP representatives Ivan Jovanovic and Sabina Hidanovic.

The meeting discussed the continuation of regional cooperation, especially regarding Category II cases taken over by the War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Serbia, which have also been monitored by the Chief Prosecutor of IRMCT OTP, Serge Brammertz. 

The UNDP representative informed the delegations that the continuation of the Palic process would be organised in order to improve regional cooperation under the auspices of the UNDP, with the participation of the Chief Prosecutor of IRMCT OTP, Serge Brammertz.

After the meeting, the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadic, and her associates met with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Serbia, HE Aida Smajic.

The meeting discussed current issues in the field of regional cooperation in prosecuting war crimes.
