International Court of Justice rejected the Request for Review of the Lawsuit against Serbia

ICJ HaagThe International Court of Justice in The Hague rejected the request for review of the judgment by the BiH lawsuit against Serbia for aggression and genocide.

The letter that members of the Presidency of BiH received reads as follows:

With regard to my letter of 24th  February 2017 (no. 148182), in which I urged the BiH Presidency to explain the problem that I have written, it is my honor, on instructions of the Court, to inform Your Excellency of the following:

The court properly considered the opinion of the members of Presidency, which they expressed in their letters. The Court considers that the contents of these letters show that any decision is not made by the governing bodies, in the name of BiH as a state, with regard to the request for revision of the Judgment of 26 February 2007 in the case of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Serbia).

Therefore, we cannot do anything with regard to the document entitled “Application for review of the judgment of 26th  February 2007 in the case of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Serbia)”.

Philippe Couvreur, Registrar
